@authorsusieyi: 🍃 long caption alert: We all seek to share indicators that we exist in this relentless passage of time. That within our increased back aches and responsibilities, we matter. Our choices, our contributions matter. In our pursuit for meaning, our goals look different, the things we cherish shift, because the older you get, the more ephemeral things become. People die, and children grow, and friends grow closer and apart. We change. Still, sometimes we’ll see someone on our social media feed, maybe a fleeting story, and in our minds lies the snapshot of a past version of them. To us, that person is still 16, 21, 25. My life means something different to me now, and so it is for everyone. I am not who I used to be. How beautiful is it that we grow every day, our cells and minds turning into something new. ❤️
