Just realized this never made it out on Sunday on this page… so a mid week Sunday Football Snack!! 🏈 Week 6: HOT HONEY PEPPERONI WHIPPED RICOTTA Im a sucker for whipped ricotta, and I love a pepperoni hot honey ricotta pizza - so I thought the same flavors would make for an amazing dip!! I wanted to cheese to be creamy and soft, but the pepperoni to have that crisp like they do on a pizza - and broiling it got that perfect effect. This also was SO EASY to make and came together super fast so it was perfect for a quick snack! Ingredients 1 baguette 1 16oz tub of whole milk ricotta 1 tbsp olive oil (+ more to drizzle on baguette) 1 4oz pack of pepperoni 1/4 cup hot honey (or more to your liking 😆) -preheat oven to 350°F -slice baguette into pieces & place on baking sheet -drizzle with olive oil, flip & repeat -bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through - or until crispy -add ricotta, oil, and pinch of salt to food processor. Whip for 1-2 minutes, until smooth -cut pepperoni into strips -spread whipped ricotta in a 9x9 pan, & top with pepperoni pieces -turn the oven to broil high - broil for ~7 mins, until pepperoni is crispy -serve with crostinis and enjoy!! Come back next week for week seven and let me know if there’s any recipes you want to see!! #sundayfootballsnacks #whippedricotta #pepperonihothoney #snackideas #recipes
