Instead of being disturbed by this racist label directed at them, Turks neutralized this attack by making the situation a part of humor and “shitposting” culture, and even turned it into an absurd comedy material in their favor. Thus, this attack, which was designed as hate speech, lost its power and was diverted from its purpose in the face of the targeted community’s strong sense of humor.
