@budgetnke: My 100K portfolio just dropped Ksh4,600 this month 📉 ...and I'm about to tell you why that's actually not a big deal. Last month I was up 24%. Today I'm at 19.5%. Nothing changed in what I own the market, just did what markets do. Full breakdown: SCOM, KPLC, SCBK, NCBA, EQTY. Most dipped, one (KPLC) held completely flat. NCBA flipped negative, the same stock I flagged last time after taking the rights offer at Ksh105. SCBK is testing me the hardest right now, down almost 7%, but I bought it for what it represents long-term, not this week's price. I didn't buy these for a quick flip. I bought moats, monopolies, and dividend kings. A red month doesn't mean a bad strategy, it means the market is doing its job. The goal was never to be up every single month.
