Ron and Harry had the right idea in Chamber of Secrets, taking the enchanted car when the cost of getting around became ridiculous. But if magical transportation is only available to people who can afford a Tesla Roadster, maybe the real magic is making transportation affordable for everyone. Not everyone has a vault full of Galleons, and ordinary Muggles shouldn't need a billionaire's invention just to escape the Whomping Willow of rising living costs.
