A routine traffic stop spiraled into chaos when a handcuffed suspect slipped his restraints and commandeered a Dallas police cruiser with an officer in the back seat. Officers initially stopped the car to further restrain the 37-year-old Stacey Huffman after he removed his seatbelt and tried to open the locked rear door. Bodycam video shows once the officers stepped out of the vehicle, Huffman climbed into the driver’s seat and sped away. The suspect eventually bailed out of the car after being tased, jumping from the vehicle while still traveling around 50 mph. Authorities say Huffman had already been arrested before turning the police SUV into a getaway car, and he now faces a new slew of charges.
