I talked, dropped the raw take in one folder, and let Claude do the rest. 1. It reads every word. Said a line five times? It keeps the best one and cuts the dead air. 2. I pick the look. Warm, moody, grainy or clean. One word in the file name. 3. It adds the sounds. Little pops and whooshes, way under my voice. Don't like something? I don't open an editing app. I just tell it. Smaller captions. Put the word behind my head. Cut that part. Next version. No folder setup yet? Steal this. Paste your transcript with timestamps into Claude and say: "Here's my raw take with timestamps. Find every line I said more than once and keep only my best version. Cut filler and dead air. Give me a keep list with start and end times, in order." You don't need to pay somebody to edit your videos anymore. You just need something to say.
