@sum14572: You might notice that some details in the illustrations are inconsistent. Due to dysgraphia and nerve damage, drawing is a long and sometimes painful process for me. How I draw changes from day to day depending on how well my hands cooperate and how much pain I'm in. So, on some of the pages the linework is a bit shakier, a tail might curve the wrong way and, despite all my measuring and lining up, my characters are rarely as semetrical or centered as I envisioned them before painstakingly commiting them to paper. I corrected what I could but when I started these I quickly realized that trying to make everything neat and tidy would be impossible and, more importantly, it would make this a miserable process. After almost a year of working on this, here they are. I'm no artist but I had fun and I think they're pretty cute, so I wanted to share. #tuttifrutti #story #art #adventure #poetry

Sum :
Some early character doodles from before we had most of the story. Originally, The Garnet Drupe was going to be a grape. Instead, we made her an unripe blackberry(kiddo was very insistent that be made clear so people know she is NOT a raspberry).

Sum :
Andy Melon, before she had legs. She is based off of our cat Ande, who is named after the mountains/mints, but we changed the spelling for the story.
