@nbcsouthflorida: A 29-year-old New York mother traveled to Miami for cosmetic surgery. She died hours later. Now, her family is pushing for answers about a clinic that NBC6 Investigates found has been linked to at least six patient deaths since 2018. The clinic, the surgeon and their attorneys did not respond to questions about Jennifer's case and others. In court filings involving other patient lawsuits, the clinic has denied liability and argued that physicians who perform procedures there are independent contractors.
