@manchesternews: This is Altai - the Amur tiger who mauled a man to death at Yorkshire Wildlife Park 🚨 The park has reopened to visitors for the first time since Altai fatally attacked William Chapman after he entered its enclosure last weekend. Footage from the park have captured the tiger roaring while lounging on grass, trying to dodge the bright autumn sunshine, inside its enclosure on Friday morning (Oct 16), as the park welcomed visitors back inside. A statement on Thursday said Altai’s "ongoing welfare at YWP remains a priority of our experienced animal care team". The statement went on to say: “We continue to assist South Yorkshire Police and other relevant agencies with their ongoing enquiries into the circumstances of this tragic incident." #manchestereveningnews #uknews #yorkshire #animals
