Do narcissists regret losing you? From my personal experience, the answer is yes—but probably not for the reason you’re hoping. When I lost someone, the first thing I felt wasn’t always love. It was the loss of attention, validation, control, familiarity, and the emotional “supply” that relationship provided. That loss can create real sadness, loneliness, frustration, and even depression. That doesn’t mean every narcissist secretly wants you back because they suddenly realized your worth. Sometimes they miss the role you played in their life more than they understand what healthy love actually looks like. In my own experience, I didn’t always miss the person in the way a healthy partner would. I missed the comfort, the attention, the certainty that someone was there, and yes, sometimes I missed the unhealthy dynamic that had developed between us. That’s a difficult truth to admit, but I think honesty is more valuable than pretending otherwise. Every narcissist is different. Some genuinely care but don’t know how to love in a healthy way. Others are focused almost entirely on what they lost rather than who they lost. If you’ve recently left someone with narcissistic traits, don’t measure your worth by whether they regret losing you. Your healing matters more than their regret. This is simply my perspective as someone who has been professionally diagnosed and has spent years trying to understand my own behavior. I’m sharing what I experienced—not speaking for every person with narcissistic traits. What do you think? Have you experienced this yourself? #narcissist #narcissism #narcissisticabuse #healing #breakup
Thought they were a thug, didn't know it was law enforcement. Resisting arrest could have led to pepper spray or a taser. #ResistingArrest #LawEnforcement #MistakenIdentity #PoliceInteractions
And be nice to others too 🫠
