@la_chingona210: TEJANO NEWS | MICHAEL SALGADO The Tejano music community is keeping Michael Salgado in their thoughts and prayers following news that he suffered a stroke on Friday, October 9, while performing in Safford, Arizona. According to a statement shared by Michael, he began experiencing symptoms shortly after performing his first song. He was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to Tucson for medical care. Michael has since returned home to San Antonio, where he is recovering. For now, his upcoming performances have been postponed so he can focus on his health. Michael Salgado has been part of Tejano music for decades, and his music has been part of so many of our lives, from family gatherings to celebrations and memories we’ll always carry with us. At the end of the day, behind the music and the stage is a person with family and loved ones who want to see him healthy. Sending prayers to Michael and his family during this time. Wishing him strength, healing, and a full recovery. ❤️ #michaelsalgado #tejanomusic #tejanonews #elzurdodeoro
