@middleeasteye: Israel’s war on Gaza is widely known as the first live-streamed genocide. Now a new tool is mapping the footage to the exact streets where it was filmed. Archive Genocide has launched an interactive node map at archivegenocide.com. The platform maps more than 35,400 elements of documented Israeli war crimes as individual points in video and photo form, some pinned to an exact location and others placed at the level of a block, neighbourhood, camp or building. The project began in early 2024 with just two to four volunteers. The team says it set out to stop the footage from being buried, and that it has submitted material to the International Criminal Court, the Hind Rajab Foundation and South Africa’s legal team at the International Court of Justice.
