This doesn’t seem bad to me and I’m poor. 100k uni does not make sense, 9250 x5 year is 50k then a few thousand for tests and other applications make sense to earn 3-400k a year. 75k resident is very easily done

Wouldn’t you not have to wait a year after graduation because to match for residency in USA would clash with uk graduation

Closer to £7k, because you have to write both step 1 and 2 plus ECFMG certification which is around £3k, do a few rotations in your specialty in the UK so flights, insurance all that another £3k, you also have to pay to signal and match, around £500-1k depending on how many places you apply to and you need to apply to a lot more as an IMG

Imagine earning 300K, 4 years after graduating when you UK counterparts are just 2 years into their specialisation, if that 😁

orrr maybe do this process after or whilst f1f2 get your gmc so that you have a safety net and at that point you will have a salary to allow you to afford this. Also everything after residency is basically the same as the uk. But at least you will be in a system where you are more rewarded that the uk medical system

You need the support of your family to do this. It will be so much easier if they support you.
