@katlegobird: My first time making uphuthu, and I got it right! Thanks to this cookbook @CookingWithZanele it has been a lifesaver. Because the things I’ve been doing in this kitchen lately? Even me, I’m surprised! 😂 Just don’t ask me to cook without the book. We’re not there yet.#uphuthu

Siphesihle Mathebula :

I’m so confused with the comments about it not being cooked through. This is how we make it at home for milk/amasi. The clumpy one would be for stews.

Fezeka :

No sisi, that is not phuthu. Its just maize meal 🤣🤣🤣🤣 !!!!

Zoey :

Noo no, did you eat it?😳 It is not well cooked.. Pour 1 cup of water & 1&half maize meal, njalonjalo

KaLindamkhonto 🌸 :

Please try again mama we will be waiting ❤️, ngathi aluvuthwanga and the maize meal was a little bit too much?

Sane 🦋 :

lubukeka lungavuthiwe 😭😭

Zoli :

You tried mama, but next time make sure that there’s no loose maize meal… you just increase the water ratio little-by-little until you get “cookie crumble” like consistency
