CRISPY POTATOES 🥔  The crispiest of crisp roasted potatoes recipe 😋 Trust me, you will never make potatoes another way again! 🤍 FOLLOW for lots more easy recipes at home! 3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks Kosher salt ½ tsp baking soda ½ cup extra virgin olive oil 6 garlic cloves, smashed and unpeeled 3 sprigs each rosemary and thyme ¾ tsp fine sea salt Add the potatoes to a large pot and cover with water by 1-inch. Bring to a boil over high heat, then add a big pinch of Kosher salt and the baking soda. Boil until tender, about 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Add the olive oil to a 9x13-inch baking pan and heat in the oven for 10 minutes. *You want the oil hot enough so it sizzles when you add the potatoes. Test one potato first and if it’s not hot enough, add the pan back to the oven for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, drain the potatoes and add back to the pot. Shake them around vigorously to release the starches and create rough edges. When the oil is ready, add all the potatoes, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and salt. Toss to coat. Roast the potatoes for 50 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Enjoy as a side dish or eat as a snack! Serves 4. #roastedpotatoes #sidedishrecipe #potatorecipe
