I don't let them have bottles at desks because they spill them on work and the floor, however they can drink whenever they need as long as it's not input time.

my daughter is temporarily homeschooled but I remember in primary school, during a HEATWAVE I had to fight to get the rule changed to allow drinks in the classroom. they didn't allow it at all because they used iPads and I was like okay that's your problem? eventually they changed it to allow bottles under the tables

ADHD burn out is real. Children have to go to school they don’t have a choice. They don’t have to feel like they are in school at home

My daughters school, if they need toilet start of a lesson, they say why didn’t you go before. They don’t greatly get loads of homework, just reading and ttrs. Sometimes the odd other homework.

I’m doing work experience at a primary in year one and the teacher does the exact same thing with the toilets I absolutely love it, she lets them go unless it’s carpet time because that’s when she’s explaining the work

Yes to the homework! I send home timetables practice to my year 3s but I couldn’t care less whether they bring it back or not. It’s for their own benefit
