youre confusing a theory explaining different outcomes with a theory being unfalsifiable men can benefit from certain aspects of society while still being harmed by gender roles in other ways and those things arent contradictory the fact that men can have more access to political power while also being expected to fight in wars doesnt automatically disprove patriarchy theory any more than acknowledging womens disadvantages proves it the real question is whether these claims can be tested and supported by evidence and if someone explains away every possible counter argument then thats a valid criticism but you havent proven that patriarchy theory as a whole does that youre taking a few examples of how some people argue and using them to dismiss an entire field of thought a theory isnt unfalsifiable just because it can explain more than one outcome
