@jessboo3332: As a lifelong people pleaser, I always tied my worth to how happy people were with me and what they thought of my character. I measured myself by how well I was loved, accepted, and understood by others. Now that I’m 40, I’m beginning to realize that so much of what I believed about my worth was never true. I was never meant to spend my life trying to prove that I was good enough. People will misunderstand you. Some will be disappointed in you. You can give your very best and still not be enough for everyone. And that’s okay. Because my worth was never meant to be determined by the opinions of others. It was never something I had to earn through perfection, people-pleasing, or self-sacrifice. My worth is found in Christ. I am still growing. Still healing. Still learning. But I no longer have to earn the love that God so freely gives. At 40, I’m learning that peace comes when you stop searching for your worth in the eyes of others and begin resting in the truth of who you are in Him. 🤍 “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? … If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

Jesse canida :
Kindness and love is within. To bring this out gets easier the more you practice. That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with likeminded people. I love the content Messy.
