The Bible does not leave us in the dark about the days ahead. God has already written the end of the story, and He invites us to know it so we can be ready. This chart is not meant to frighten you. It is meant to wake you up and point you to Jesus. The same Scriptures that describe the mark of the beast also promise that those who belong to Christ will never face it. Jesus is coming for His Church before the worst of the tribulation begins (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52). After the Rapture, the restrainer will be taken out of the way and the man of lawlessness—the Antichrist—will be revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8). He will confirm a seven-year covenant with many, marking the start of Daniel’s 70th week (Daniel 9:27). For the first three and a half years he will rise in power while seal judgments fall on the earth. At the midpoint he will break the covenant, commit the abomination of desolation, and declare himself God (Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:4). The False Prophet will then perform great signs, give breath to an image of the beast, and enforce the mark on the right hand or forehead. Without that mark—no one will be able to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-18). Taking the mark is an act of worship toward the beast and carries eternal judgment (Revelation 14:9-11). Those who refuse will face severe persecution and many will be killed for their faith. Yet even in that dark hour, God will still be saving people. If you know Jesus as Savior, this is not your future. You have been sealed by the Holy Spirit and are not appointed to wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Ephesians 1:13-14). Your hope is the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13). While the world moves toward the mark, you can rest in the One who already paid for your sin with His own blood. If you do not yet know Him, please hear this clearly: the time to get right with God is today. You do not have to wait for the Antichrist, the tribulation, or the mark. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock” (Revelation 3:20). He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Call on Him now. He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him (Hebrews 7:25). Jesus closed the book of Revelation with these words: “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20). That is both a promise and a prayer. The same King who will one day defeat the beast and cast him into the lake of fire is the same Savior who offers mercy right now. Share this chart with the people you love. Talk about it. Pray over it. Most of all, be ready. Whether He comes for the Church today or year from now, the only safe place is in Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life—and He is coming soon.
