Normalize parenting your children and teaching them how to participate in society! My parents cut that shit out QUICK when/if it came up. Our generation is about to raise the most entitled children ever and I’m scared for it. If we thought late Gen Z/Gen Alpha was bad, it’s only going to be worse with these kinds of parents oh lord

“until you give her what she wants” is the problem. if you don’t give in to the tantrum, she’ll learn it doesn’t work. now she’s just going to go harder and harder knowing you’ll eventually give in if she keeps trying

Merrit seems like a precious little fire cracker 🥰, but she definitely should be seeing an OT for her sensory regulation! ❤️❤️

I had a merit! He’s grown into the sweetest, kindest 8 year old. His toddler years were tough, but he’s so easy now! Wishing you the same! 🥰

Hey so all of these comments are pretty awful, but you’re doing great. My oldest also did all of these things, and she just got diagnosed with autism due to the self harming behaviors (gagging, pulling her hair, biting herself) so just keep an eye out

This came up on my fyp and the comments are not it. I work with 18-24 month olds and they are all learning their independence and love to see what they can and can’t do. They’re also in that rambunctious toddler stage and just love to cause chaos. They’re also finding out more of their personality and really starting to grow into their own. This is a normal part of development and no one in this comment section is the perfect parent. If a mom isn’t asking for advice - don’t give it. Also no one on here is a doctor so diagnosing a kid you don’t know with autism is weird behavior.
