This is in the Old Testament, people were worshiping pagan gods. The queen of heaven is just a title, Mary is the mother of the king (Jesus) so she is the queen. She gave birth to GOD she deserves to be venerated and respected, Catholics do not worship her. The Bible says that saints are in heaven so we pray for their intercession because they are closer to God than us on earth. She gave a virgin birth and gave birth to the SON. Only human to ever have a virgin immaculate birth. I understand your misunderstanding but please don’t disrespect the mother of our God.

Just because people called a fake goddess the “queen of heaven” doesn’t mean that calling Mary the Queen of Heaven is us worshipping a pagan deity. Some pagan cultures refer to their gods as “Father,” but you don’t complain about Catholics calling God “Father.”

The figure mentioned in jeramiah 44:17-19 is not mother mary although they share the same title. In that verse God condemns the people for worshiping a near eastern pagan godess, likley Ishtar or Asetarte. The biblical evidence for catholics calling mother mary tge queen of heaven is in revelation. It describes the mother of the messiah (Jesus) clothed with the sun and CROWNED with 12 stars.
