All for data centers, however, I would say that data centers need a plan for environmental impact need a plan to supply their own power or build their own power and same for water. I would even consider giving them discounted land if they go north where it’s colder and the AI data center would not need as much cooling. Additionally, data centers should pay additional taxes higher than businesses because of their environmental impact.

How much will taxpayers pay? Including subsidies, infrastructure improvements, and any tax concessions. What will residents experience? Including noise, construction, visual impact, water use, and electricity demand. Are there better alternatives? Including existing industrial sites, smaller facilities, or locations with sufficient power infrastructure.

lol the funny thing is we had data centres in Canada and they closed them all and we now have cloud services va Amazon storing our Canadian info.
