@c5news: 'And I scream from the top of my lungs, what’s going on’ A motorist unwittingly provided the perfect soundtrack for a car crash that happened meters infront of them. On Friday, Thames Valley Police shared footage of Emma Dutton leaving the road and crashing into a power pole. The force was sent the dashcam footage from a motorist travelling behind the 43-year-old who happened to be listening to the Non Blondes song, ‘What’s Up’, with the lyrics “what’s going on” playing at the exact moment she left the road and hit a power pole in Wallingford in February. What was going on was that Dutton had fallen asleep and had cocaine in her system. “We think the soundtrack is a fitting reminder of just how dangerous the decision to drug drive can be,” the force wrote in a social media post. Dutton pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and drug driving and was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on 8 October. She received a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a 22-month driving ban.
