I'd say 1st but only if you can crop the top a bit, maybe use a croptuck to make it shorter and closer to the waist of the skirt? When you pulled it up to show the top of the skirt it was super cute.

skirt is divine! but your sweater, though also beautiful, I feel is too bulky for the skirt and occasion. you must have a lighter weight red or cream sweater - you're Elyse! keep those shoes and bag.

Love the dress and the skirt. The plaid is beautiful. The sweater is gorgeous, but I fear I would sweat. I would pair the skirt with a different top.

I think the plaid dress with a short sleeves is better for a day party. The skirt and sweater are better for a day to evening party.
