I'm currently healing my fearful-avoidant (disorganized) attachment style, and I just reached the point after the crashout with my partner where I'm trying to work through it. Communication and trusting him feels like handing someone a gun and having to trust them not to shoot me with it. But it's getting a little better every day. Just working through it. ✌🏻 Obviously, you can't be in a relationship with someone who refuses to do the work and would rather keep their eyes closed. That's just common sense. But the way people generally condemn this attachment style is really not cool.

Yep. 2 weeks in, going well. Then bam. “I’m not sure what to do with us. I don’t think we want the same things. I kinda feel like you’re not into it”. Now 18 mths and 20 breakups later nothing’s changed. 😏

They play with your nervous system and create problems out of nothing. When you get close and show them you care, they push you away. But when you distance yourself, they accuse you of neglecting them. You can never win with them. Please, don’t waste your time. RUN AWAY!

Mine just had a crazy crash out about how I wasn’t jealous he couldn’t tell if I liked him I wasn’t doing what he wanted me to do, while he wouldn’t communicate his needs either, I had to guess. A whole week of crazy
