dude this episode is so GOOD. it did so much with so few words. how he holds stolas up on a pedestal but also feels chained to him. stolas was his safe haven and his cage. a fire he always was pushed to close to.

I miss when the romance plot line was like a special or rare moment in s1, now it isn't even as impactful bcs the ENTIRE show is about their relationship.😭

not every character needs a redemption arc😭 just leave stolas as the unredeemable villain. he IS a demon btw. it wouldve been good if he kept trying to change but unrelentingly fell back into his old ways cause that's just who he is.

i genuinely don't understand how they had the perfect setup to show stolas improving as a character by realizing that he WAS being condescending and treating blitz as a lesser being and then trying to fix that, and blitz improving as a character by realizing that he does want to be with stolas as he works through his feelings and trying to be more open

I sometimes cringe when I remember my helluva boss phase bht then I rewatch the first season and realize that it genuinely was good the writers just fucked it all up 💔 characters like Fizz, Striker, and Stolas seemed like such good villains yet ruined all their characters
