@mathiasmorte: Old man yells at cloud #chopin #mathiasmorte #meme

Toblerone Smith :

I love canon in D but it’s always used in movies and tv shows during dinner party scenes at the rich, explicitly snooty types 😭

Andy López :

Me when erik Satie's "Gymnopedie 1" became "default sad song"

J :

Classical music, and historical paintings, make amazing memes... But I get your point

Nector :

This is how I feel about Aphex Twin

duhlan69420 :

I think the use of classical music in memes and as trending audio is a very sincere appreciation for the music, albeit unconsciously. I don’t think we need to really sit and focus on the music to be able to appreciate it, and I think the beauty of TikTok is that it’s presented us with so many chances to hear it organically 🙂

🇿🇦 Solarpunk Cinema 🇿🇦 :

Sounds good

Ben_Crosland :

The sadness is compounded by the fact that the meme sound is a midi file rendition.

Davide Zibetti :

Oh my god, someone that thinks this besides me

HaNa :

actually sitting down and listening to pink Floyd made it actually click for me so sitting down and actively listening to music is really worth it

Rebecca Danuta Konci :

I love it as a meme and as a piece of music. things can be two things.

Adamjoemo :

patsy :

no its a straight banger

rat princess ४🐀 :

I hate the one audio of it with the loud noises added to it, it hurts my ears

Athletic Quails :

I’ve heard it too many times lately being played exactly as it is on the sheet music with no emotion and feeling. It fills me with an indescribable rage

double_aqua :

Lacrimosa. That’s all.

Paddingtok_ :

I used to cry to this piece...not so much anymore

Sergeant Cho Hyun-ju the GOAT :

Twilight ruined it for me tbh

PlainLazy4 :

It still manages to only remind me of the Evil Within

Eddie Murillo :

Yeah but that’s how it’s get passed down to the younger folks . Otherwise it would fall into obscurity

vanessa 🪷 :

do you know how the chorus of "right where i belong" by ashley o was made? i feel like they slowed down "dream" extremely slow and long, then added splices to it

CC :

i along with many other pianists studied and played this when I was younger, it is still a favourite but it is also overdone

crapworks02 :

weirdly enough I associate this song with fallout 4 bc I used to listen to the Classical Music radio station a lot

Vitorio :

Obviously not a classical piece but I have this feeling with Wake Me Up When September Ends

Chanda :

I saw a TikTok recently by a proper news company which used this song on a video about a proper serious news story, and I just couldn't take it seriously 🫢

Matty Moocow :

Hi, me
