France gets 85% of its electricity from nuclear allways on and not dependant on wind or sun - 12% of our electricity is from nuclear and we had the first nuclear power station

This isn't about how we produce electricity, this is about how we transport the needed energy around the country. This is where major investment should have been made, not stupid high speed trains we don't really need.
