Been down this road already. She has 2 girls that I've told her aren't her real friends. Twice now they've turned on her because the boy liked my daughter and not them. We've told her not to be mean to them, but don't tell them anything you don't want the world to know. This last time, they didn't turn on her but she's seeing all of the things I've been telling her for herself. She's quietly distanced herself from them and I couldn't be happier.

I told my daughter to be careful what she tells people. Once she shares information, those people can do whatever they want with it. Including telling everyone else.
