@fphiri0: Philippians 4:4 (KJV) “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” Rejoicing is not merely a response to good circumstances; it is a decision rooted in our relationship with God. Paul does not say, “Rejoice when everything is going well.” He says, “Rejoice in the Lord alway.” This means that our joy is not measured by what is happening around us, but by the God who lives within us and the hope we have in Him. You may be facing disappointment, financial struggles, rejection, sickness, or sleepless nights, yet you can still rejoice because your circumstances do not change the faithfulness of God. Even when you are broken, you can rejoice. Even when tears are running down your cheeks, you can still have joy in your spirit. Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) declares, “For the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Sometimes, you may not have the strength to fight another battle, but the joy of the Lord can renew your inner strength and help you stand again. Rejoicing does not mean denying your pain. It means refusing to allow your pain to take away your hope in God. Habakkuk declared that even if the fig tree did not blossom and the fields produced no food, yet he would rejoice in the Lord (Habakkuk 3:17–18). In other words, even when everything around me says there is no reason to celebrate, I still have a reason to rejoice because God is still my salvation.
