So True. I have been let go due to a contract from firm to firm was not accepted. I was let go on good terms but been applying since Oct 2025. I still don’t have a job and can’t get any calls back

This is true. My husband started quiet, quitting his job and they let him go, he really thought he’d be able to get a new job by the next week. He had seven weeks severance and he was confident he was gonna overlap that with a new job. I was three months ago and he’s probably gonna add a divorce to it at this point.

I think my husband applied to less than 100, got 3 job offers and all of them started higher than the job he quit. No degree, no Veterans preference, just 6ish years in the same industry and good references.

I applied to 40ish when I got laid off cause company went under. The job I got hired at was because I walked into parts and asked em “yall hiring mechanics?” Ended up getting one of the greatest opportunities lmaoooo
