i hate when transphobes use detransitioners as a talking point against trans people. most detransitioners fully support trans people!! people detransition for dozens of reasons. they act like they care abt detransitioners but they don’t. otherwise they would actually listen to detransitioners stories as well as their requests to not be used as fuel for bigotry against trans people

didnt know detransition was a term! I was a boy for a year to hide from the SA that was rampent in my middle school. Weirdly that experience of presenting as a boy but inside feeling like a girl still helped me really understand trans people a lot and now I'm a huge advocate even tho I'm cis. I never tell people that cause I thought the concept of 'detransitioning' was fround upon or something and I felt guilty. this video made me realize its kinda silly to feel guilty about that.

literallyyyy I lived as a trans man for like 9 years (detransitioned for personal reasons, still consider myself at least like nonbinary/genderfluid but live as a woman) and I dont even like telling ppl I detransitioned cuz I dont want someone getting the wrong idea and using me as an excuse to discredit other trans people. I will always support the trans community

I commented on someone's post because they said being trans is being like goth and that it's just a phase. I said "I've been goth since middle school and im almost 30 now." had one woman reply that she use to be goth in high school and wasent anymore and that I needed to grow up. like...people just need to leave people alone because this is crazy. I love everyone and ill stick up for anyone who needs it. too much hate in this world I swear.
