This a great commentary. This angle of our interactions - I've never seen it pointed out. I wonder about the person who plays "devil's advocate." They can be an important part of a conversation and/or ongoing assessments. It is important to identify whether or not they are a contrarian or are genuinely engaging in an effort to make progress.
