I was BRIEFLY dating a guy for about 3 months. Wouldn’t have even classified him as a boyfriend at that point. He tried this nonsense once and I shut it down immediately. That was the beginning of the end and I “broke up” with him shortly after.

I think it’s always funny when complete strangers can see the red flags in a relationship before the person in the relationship can actually see them. I always take people being in a toxic relationship as standing too close to a painting. You can only see this one portion of the painting where everything is okay and everything is good your perspective of it. But when you take a step back and you see the whole picture you can see what other people are seeing, who are not in the relationship and you can finally see where the problems are.

I entertained it for a bit, but Im sarcastic so I set the echo to shout BITCH BITCH BITCH at him when I got to work. he didnt know how to make it stop 😈

I don’t have personal experience being in OP’s shoes, but my sister-in-law was in a relationship like that and it did eventually progress to physical abuse. Constantly calling, texting, demanding to know where she was going, who she was with, what she was doing.
