@geraldinebakedgoods: Pumpkin Reese’s Pieces Cookies 🧡🍪💛 Reese’s pieces and pumpkin? A match made in autumn heaven. I couldn’t imagine that mixing pumpkin and peanut butter would taste so phenomenal. Oh but it does, give it a try if you dare! 10 tbsp unsalted butter softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice 1 egg yolk 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/3 cup pumpkin puree 3/4 cup Reese’s pieces Preheat oven to 350F and line the baking sheets with parchment paper and then set aside In a small bowl whisk together the dry ingredients, flour, salt, baking soda, and pumpkin pie spice and then set aside In another bowl add the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar and fold together until creamy and smooth Next add the pumpkin puree, egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix again until fully incorporated Then slowly add the dry ingredients into the pumpkin wet mixture and mix together until a dough starts to form Add the Reese’s pieces and fold them into the cookie dough, the batter will be thick and that’s okay Cover the cookie dough and place in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes to chill Once chilled, use a spoon and measure the cookie dough 1 1/2 tbsp sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned Allow cookies to cool for 3 minutes then carefully transfer the cookies onto a cooling rack to continue cooling Then feel free to indulge! 🤎 @Reese’s #cookies #autumn #Foodie #yummy #cooking
