they don't even care when you are together. she was pushing me for 10yrs to get a gf because "we can't be everything for each other" and "we don't see each other much because we work so much" a month ago she walked out on me and our three kids and jumped on her boss the same night. Yeah. What could have been… the plans talked about. The promises made. The obsession… being her safe place. The hope of starting a family. Then one day her ex came back into her life and I lost the girl I fell in love with. The girl I imagined to be in my life and grow old with. The girl who’s mom I was going to meet and ask for her blessing. The girl I adored. Calling… texting… then it just was too much for her. She’d leave and then come back. They say “third times the charm” and I used to think the universe brought us together but this time- this time I lost her forever. Fuck, I just hope he treats her right this time and she heals.
