Yup. It smells a lot like the speculative telecom fiber bubble in the 2000s where they wound up massively overbuilt and then busted. See also railroad expansion in the 1800s. I think it’s significant that it seems to be mostly land developers speculatively overbuilding data centers rather than cloud or AI consumers demanding it.

Has there been a point in time where so much capital/growth has been focused on one sector compared to all other sectors? What happens to the global capital inflows to US based Al trades if another country catches up?

girrrrrl 2 months ago I sensed this... I felt something brewing and I moved my tech-heavy, 30%-rate-of-return 401k investments away from tech almost completely. might have been a very, very wise choice.

CoreWeave has 104 billion in revenue backlog but they need time and money to be able to recognize this. I just did a video on this breaking this down for anyone interested.

The best thing to happen is for a healthy stock market correction, which will lower the 10yr yield, and fed stays or lowers rates of unemployment goes up.

A couple thoughts……Coreweave is probably going to be a great success. What do you mean who is going to flip the bill? Its either they Refi or paydown or default. Coreweave probably has many many MWs of active MRR right now. It’s risky but it’s still very profitable and has tenants that are most likely very credit worthy (hyperscalers you mentioned) or atleast diverse ai startups they charge at a premium. Guess who the most nervous people on earth are. Bankers. Not many else. The fact that bankers are lending to everyone is the problem, they are regretting how much paper they hold that is circular that they don’t even know about. They already hold Tenant B debt. They hear a great deal for a DC has the perfect a Tenant A. But Tenant A is subleasing to Tenant B. That’s something that needs to change. But this negative sentiment which is everywhere makes for a great time to invest honestly. Coreweave went public early 2025. Are they up or down? And how much?
