Okay so obviously, whatever compat does this I'm assuming is just putting the receiving end of the portal in the contraption's subgrid dimension instead of the overworld... (if you haven't looked into it, sable subgrids are stacked dimensions. crazy shit.) My question is... if you coded another compat to let subgrids cross through portals, did this in the nether, then took the contraption into the overworld.... you'd have a mobile portal between two points in the overworld.
