Facts. Lance conveniently doesn’t appear on screen (except for the one scene in Liz and Billy’s friend’s house), and this film fits pretty well into his filmography in terms of how the film itself manipulates the audience. He’s an absolute genius in his presentation, but what he and Nathan captured does raise an insane amount of questions about exploitation and intention.

I don’t understand people who just automatically assume the re-enactments are 100% accurate either. Like he could just totally be making them up too but most takes I’ve seen every one seems to assume the re-enactments are the truth when there is no factual evidence to prove they are as they are the only parts of the film not actually caught on camera.

“You Can See Everything” is THE greatest “documentary” of all time… Oscars are guaranteed. But it is not a true documentary. It is a hybrid documentary-feature film which absolutely should deliver a best supporting actress nomination for Amanda Seyfried who turns out to be a fascinating mix of kind AND villainous. 🧐 Meanwhile… Elizabeth Holmes is clearly on the spectrum, absolutely should NOT be in prison, and her attorneys should be disbarred.👺
