@foxnews: Elementary school children were told to put their Bibles in sealed envelopes so other students wouldn't see them. Now, a Washington school district must publicly apologize and pay $275,000 in attorney's fees. That's the outcome of a legal battle between Everett School District and LifeWise Academy, which accused school officials of targeting its voluntary Bible instruction program with restrictive policies. LifeWise CEO Joel Penton says some children felt ashamed of their faith after being required to conceal their religious materials.
