my mom has a rare brain disease that causes dementia (and a host of other medical issues). i had to put her in a nursing home a few years ago when she was 59. she doesnt remember much or is able to communicate very well. but play some music, she sings along. it's the only thing that brings her smile back and puts a sparkle in her eye again. you are doing amazing things! not just for patients, but their families too. nothing makes me happier than seeing my mom go from silent and depressed to excited and full on jamming. I momentarily get my mom back ❤️❤️❤️
