our daughter lives in Italy and we picked her up from SeaTac last night and she kept taking deep breaths through her nose. I said what are you doing? She said Washington air is the best air in the world!

I’m in my 50’s and I moved to WA in the 90’s after being a military brat and living in Alaska, Georgia , Texas, Massachusetts, Indiana, California , Arizona and Montana in the US. We also lived in Germany and traveled a lot in Europe. I came to Seattle after I graduated HS and never left. There are many beautiful and unique places all over the world but this place by far has so much all in one place. Over 30 years here and I’m still discovering beautiful new hikes, incredible art, cultural and food places. It’s not perfect because some people still suck no matter where you go. But it’s like no other place.
