I am currently at the hospital and had to leave to go to the cafeteria. Upon returning, I noticed all exits were closed and received an announcement indicating that the hospital was on lockdown. Shortly thereafter, I was permitted to return to my daughter, who is with me in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

I was in the waiting room at the time and they moved everyone in the waiting room to another room inside the hospital away from windows. So scary thinking of ways to hide in case something happens n not knowing where to go cuz u don’t know that hospital. Glad we’re ok

This is so crazy. My daughter was just discharged last weeek after being there for 6 weeks. We were just there. Hits close to home.
