why is the crowd so quiet?? i’d be singing and dancing along with them!! been years since i’ve seen the carnival. the music alone makes this float, such bangers! fun fact for anyone here unfamiliar with the somerset carnivals, they make the floats themselves!! all throughout the year. there’s people as young as school age to people as old as retirement, such a wonderful celebration of community. the town i’m from is actually known for the carnival

the contrast between the bright lights and loud sounds and dancing vs the absolute stillness and silence of the crowd is a really eerie sight - its perfect!!!
