It was wonderful to finally meet Paris Hilton, and I was honored to be invited as one of the doctors attending her Neurodivergence Summit! 💗 And YES, she is every bit as gorgeous and kind in person as you’d imagine! Paris thought of EVERYTHING! 💗 1. BALL PIT: Sensory play can help with regulation, especially for neurodivergent individuals. There were ADULTS in the ball pit WORKING ON LAPTOPS! Why aren’t we doing this everywhere? 💗 2. BOUNCE HOUSE: Who decided adults need to sit still all day? Movement breaks can help regulate attention and energy, and people LOVED it! 💗 3. KINETIC SAND: Tactile sensory activities aren’t just for kids! Adults benefit from calming sensory experiences, too. 💗 4. HOT PINK CARS: Because it’s Paris Hilton. Obviously. I was in HEAVEN! 💗 5. WEIGHTED STUFFED ANIMALS: These can provide comforting sensory input for overstimulated children and adults. I grabbed a sea otter and a sloth with weighted arms that rest on your shoulders for my kids! 💗 6. NEUROSPICY BAR: Yes, I visited numerous times. Yes, I had a couple of bourbons. 😂 But FIRST, I enjoyed an Unstoppable Matcha, which personally gave me sustained energy and attention without the coffee crash! 💗 7. THE BATHROOM: Absolutely incredible. THE TOILET WELCOMES YOU WHEN YOU WALK IN. Enough said. 💗 8. THE GIFTS: Paris even prepared adorable gift bags for our children! So thoughtful, and I haven’t shown you everything! 💗 9. FLOWERS & GLAM: If I could decorate my entire home with that much pink and glamour, I WOULD. No notes. 💗 10. CARTER: A husband who supports his wife’s vision and lets her SPARKLE? As he should! 👏 But what impressed me most wasn’t the glamour. It was the intentionality behind creating an environment where people could move, play, and regulate their sensory experiences without being expected to conform. As a psychologist, I loved seeing neurodiversity celebrated rather than accommodated as an afterthought. And as a woman, I loved seeing another woman use her power and platform to make a difference. @ParisHilton Thank you, Paris, for proving advocacy can be powerful, playful, and VERY pink! 💗 #ParisHilton #Neurodiversity #Neurodivergent #DrLeslieDobson #ThatsHot
