Several people within the company reportedly view the match as a potential main event. It was also noted that WWE hopes to feature Rhea Ripley prominently on the women’s side of the card, provided she can recover from her injury in time. Rhea has been out of action since suffering a knee injury at WWE Clash in Italy in late May. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk are also expected to have significant roles on the show. One source suggested that WWE could revisit Punk vs. Cody as another top-billed match, although this was speculation about a potential direction rather than a confirmed plan.
