I was on doxycycline for an entire year on my 20s it did nothing to help my hormonal acne. Accutane helped.

These guys aren’t doctors, you use those kinda things before immediately stepping to accutane because of its effects, that’s completely normal, they’re not doctors.

They usually get a antibiotic wash or cream like clindamycin, doxycycline (cant use in 8 year olds or younger) and benzaclin. With or without birth control. Most patients are already taking a birth control for both the hormones and for basic contraceptives.
