DISABLE UPnP (Critical) Log into your router settings (usually 192.168.0.1). Find "UPnP" (Universal Plug and Play) and turn it OFF. This stops your camera from punching a hole through your firewall to the public internet. 2. CHANGE THE DEFAULT LOGIN Search engines like this look for "admin/admin". If you haven't changed your default password, you are indexed. Change it to a strong passphrase immediately. 3. CHECK FOR FIRMWARE UPDATES The "CVE" codes I showed in the video are security holes. Updating your camera's firmware patches these holes so hackers can't use them. 4. USE A VPN If you need to watch your camera remotely, don't port forward.
