People don’t understand that heightism doesn’t need to be full oppression for it to be a thing. I go on TikTok’s explaining how even if it doesn’t completely determine one’s life, countless studies unequivocally demonstrate it does exist. And it isn’t about complaining about dates or women but more important things like income and even tragically suicide. Like I think most people who are smart enough to see that heightism does exist aren’t making outrageous claims or claiming it’s worse than other forms of oppression that have existed for centuries, but rather just bringing it up as another issue in modern society, and that discrepancy is why a lot of people choose to ignore or deny it
